Any trip where you see wobeggong sharks, hammerheads, giant potato cod, rhinopias, wonderpuss octopus, fighting (mating?) cuttlefish, mandarin fish, along with the 200 ft visibility on the incredibly scenic Banda seamounts has to be great, and it was. I loved the lava slope dive on Gunung Api, the hard coral was the best I’ve ever seen anywhere. The walls in Misool were just packed with life. The ocean was flat, calm, and mirror-like.
