This is perhaps my twelfth trip aboard the Seven Seas and my fourth trip with the owner Mark Hughes as captain/cruise director, and there will many more to come. The crew and dive guides are superb and I feel like I am coming home to family each time I step on board. This was a life changing trip, learning through the patient cruise and experienced diving instructors plus Mark’s intuitive decisions on places and dive levels. I overcome my primal fears and dived with sharks and manta rays, in joy, peace, and wonder.
The stress of life was substituted for peace and calm, connecting with nature in a magical way.
Mark is a wise relaxed, fair, knowledgeable and experienced leader and captain. Whom has created an exceptional business, well organized, entertaining, quality service and excellent staff.
The whole staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, clearly they have tonnes of experience and intellectual knowledge to make us feel safe and satisfied.
Excellent food, excellent diving, excellent service in an excellent location.

This trip was super phenomenal on all levels! The thorough coordination from the beginning to end. The amazing and outstanding care of all the crew. The off the chart case by the captain and the cruise director was truly a gift!! The food was outstanding, the dive care, and snorkeling was superb. The trip was the most well organized adventure I have ever been on. Smiling and warm hearted staff. Captain full of excitement and knowledge. Coming from as far away as possible, 12 times zones (Lynchburg, VA), we just had to see the Komodo Dragons and the Nudibranchs, Cuttlefish, Pygmy Seahorse, and more Manta Rays than my camera could handle. Sevenseas made it all happen with comfort, efficiency (best dive deck and boat crews), hot showers, good Indonesian coffee, and the best desserts in the hemisphere. Tweaking the schedule due to weather changes and tides was seamless and smooth. A healthy mix of hikes with panoramic views, sandy beaches, and sunsets along with sunrise yoga and pushups on the ship’s roof kept us active and engaged above the water, too. And can’t wait to make a book from my 1000+ photos and relive the memories trip and again. Thank you, Sevenseas. Betsy – Joe. Komodo, June 2018.
